Struggled to Make Ends Meet

“I struggled to pay rent,” confessed Peter Moyo, known for his exceptional performances and undeniable talent.

“Whenever I attend Macheso’s family shows during month ends, I will be begging for money to pay rent.

“At least if you help me with US$150, I will look for another US$150 to pay my rent,” he said.

H-Metro reports that the courageous admission not only highlighted the financial challenges he was confronting but also resonated with many artists who often face financial instability in the highly competitive music industry. Macheso, moved by Peter’s openness and vulnerability, immediately pledged his support and praised the young musician for bravely speaking up about his problem.

Following his public appeal, Peter Moyo received an overwhelming outpouring of support from kind-hearted individuals who empathized with his situation. “I’ve already received more than US$500 from well-wishers,” disclosed Peter with deep gratitude, exceeding his initial request for rent money.
